There are few reprocessing centres for recyclable materials at the moment. As more markets are developed and more local reprocessing takes place the market pricefor recycled materials will increase. Recycling savings energy, natural resources and reduces waste disposal.

Energy Centre
Waste considered unsuitable for other methods of recycling are sent to the Energy Centre. The Energy Centre incinerates waste. The heat generated from the process turns water into steam which drives turbines to create electricity. This is fed in to the National Grid. Every year we produce enough electricity to power 66,000 homes as well as all the centres on the EcoPark in North London.
