Who we are and what we do

Roles and Responsibilities

LondonWaste Ltd is a limited company wholly owned by the North London Waste Authority.

When the materials are delivered in to LondonWaste, items can either be bulked-up at our Bulk Recycling Centre or in our Recycling Bays before being sent on to specialist reprocessors, if it is organic material it could be processed through the Compost Centre, we also have a Wood Chipping Centre and Ash Recycling Centre. Even if the products can’t be recycled our updated Energy Centre creates steam to generate electricity, therefore still gaining value from your “waste”.

LondonWaste also operates the Reuse and Recycling Centre at Hornsey Street WRC, N7 on behalf of LB Islington. We supply weighbridge staff at the Rail Transfer Station at Hendon and operate the Hertfordshire County Council Waste Transfer Station at Waterdale, Watford.
