Give it a grow at the EcoPark 4 - 7 May

The EcoPark Event is part of Compost Awareness Week 4-7 May 2010.

See for yourself how grass cuttings and kitchen scraps are transformed into high quality compost at the EcoPark. The event will highlight the benefits of using compost whether you have a garden, window box or an allotment. There will also be the opportunity to meet like-minded people, take part in workshops and learn new growing activities. Please pre-book in advance as places are limited.

LondonWaste Awarded Silver

The LondonWaste Transport Team has been awarded Silver status in the Freight Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS). As the first waste management company to receive the Bronze Award in June we are pleased to have gained the Silver Award.
FORS is a unique, membership scheme that aims to transform transport delivery in London. FORS was developed to help road operators become safer, more efficient and more environmentally-friendly in the Capital. It is a free scheme open to any company operating vans or lorries. The membership provides a quality and performance benchmark for the industry.
